I've actually really enjoyed living here so far, there's new management & owners and they are not the previous, horror-story inducing managers. BUT I am leaving this here to say that there is a garage for another building out back out of which people play incredibly, incredibly loud music, long past midnight, so bad it shakes my apartment. I'm not normally one to get fussy about noise but it's like, actually insane. If you ask them to turn it down they just turn it up louder. I wish I knew this before I moved here, b/c I would not have chosen to live here had I known.

Run away, these people are delinquents.

Their buildings have been poorly made and maintained. This is NOT luxury living!

Hello Living lost in court the management of the building I live in, which the court transferred to another management. They are not transferring my the rent deposit to the new Management nor returning it to me as my lease ended. It is impossible to contact them as they have disconnected their phone number, they have moved from the location that is in the lease, and they are not answering any emails. They do however send me emails claiming that I owe them the rent I have been paying the right management company.

This was the worst renting experience I’ve ever been a part of. I stayed here for a year and that was more than enough. The building was in foreclosure when I left (not sure the status of that now) & the tenants would constantly get letter from various lawyer groups about the owner defaulting on his loan. Management would try to sway us to keep paying them even tho we literally have legal documents stating otherwise. The outdoor space that is supposed to be furnished was completely empty all year. “Assigned parking” was barely followed. After 6 months they FINALLY gave us garage fobs (we originally shared one key that hung from the garage door). The apartment was a mess when I moved in (they were still cleaning at the time they told me to move in) and the stove was permanently stained.. as well as broken cabinets. At one point the cabinet in the bathroom literally fell out the wall. The place also has ZERO closet space… why build apartments without closets The only pro of this spot is the big balcony (lots of sunlight) & in-unit washer/dryer. Oh forgot to mention I once came home to two strange men sitting on my balcony smoking so security is definitely an issue. And don’t get me started on stolen packages. Good luck if you move here.

I lived here for 2 years and would not recommend it. While the views are amazing from the upper floors and the appliances are top notch, nothing was ever fixed in spite of multiple requests over the years. The power outlets would stop working, and there was so much noise and smell from other apartments that carried up and down the elevator shaft. We hoped that the switch to REM Residential as building managers would help make things better, but sadly, nothing changed. When we signed the lease, we were showed pictures of a lush amenity deck with lounge chairs, planters, and BBQ grills. We were promised that it would be completed that spring, and to this date it is still just a concrete slab with a few chairs. There is also zero bicycle parking, even though the Streeteasy listings for this building still say there is. The car parking situation also was a mess, with everyone having to share a single garage door opener that was hung on a string inside the parking, so you'd have to leave your car running, quickly open the door, run inside, duck under the garage door, and pray that no one stole your car while you did all this. Over the summer, the neighbors blast fireworks directly outside of the building, since it's located at a relatively quiet T-intersection. This building bills itself as a luxury rental, but really, the only luxury you get is to pay luxury prices. Better deals for better amenities can be found elsewhere in the neighborhood these days, with all the new buildings coming up.

Been living there since the beginning for the last 4 years. Absolutely no closets space had to go to Ikea. It was said that we would be reimbursed for the closet but it never happened. Very nice top of the line appliances. But there was always some shady things going on with management. 1st off the property manager wasn't really the manager found out later. They had security at first then all of sudden it stop. They didn't pay the guy so he left. All the amenities with the court yard nothing much happened. The first year there they eventually bought patio furniture but later on down the line it was no longer no good. Because of the elements of the weather and they never put it in storage. It was a piece of junk thrown together. When seeing a notice about building going into foreclosure that was the last straw and getting numerous letters about the building manager is being sue and taking everybody rent doing something else with it that was enough for me. Good luck to anybody who take a chance with these people. They have the nerve to email tenants saying not to give any bad reviews. Overpriced and greedy

A WOMAN ALMOST DIED IN THE ELEVATOR CHRISTMAS NIGHT. 1353 Flatbush Avenue at their Hello Flatbush building. They tried to cover it up. It dropped while she was in it. The FDNY told her she was lucky to be alive because it was supposed to drop to the basement but luckily it only dropped about two floors. She got stuck in between floors. Another tenant on the 1st floor almost got electrocuted because of faulty wiring. Their apartment would flood when it rained. Multiple attempted break ins. This building has been open since before the Covid shutdown. They advertised to renters that there would be a gym and coworking spaces. There are NONE. Over 3 years later. They used the shutdown as an excuse for never finishing/starting the gym or coworking areas. Yet for some reason they’re still advertising these amenities. They have made ZERO progress. RUN FAR AWAY! SLUM LORDS.

If I could give zero stars I would.

Building management has abandoned the building, tenants are stuck with no way to contact management as things including elevator and appliances break. Calls to management have gone unanswered. But they still send emails asking us to pay rent.

Avoid all hello properties, not worth it. Google the company for all of the BS they do.

Gorgeous apartments. Decent location. Zero closets... none... not a single closet in any of the apartments. Brand new building. Massive kitchen that could've easily sacrificed some square footage for a closet.
