TAKE NOTE AT HOW THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE MISSING. THEY ARE REPORTING OR REMOVING THEM SOME HOW. The location is great! The staff not so much. As a military family the housing office here is subpar to other management you would get at other locations. When I first got here my house leaked for almost year before they’d move us and that was only until I sent messages to higher management outside of the base. Maintenance is terrible and they have a facility manager named Mario. I just recently had an encounter with them and he moved and lost our bikes and REFUSED to take responsibility for it. They expect us to pay a $500 deductible through our renters insurance and wont reimburse us and our bikes aren’t even worth 500 dollars so we are out of bikes. They are disorganized and liars. They lied to the police on the police report and made up violations and didn’t even input them into the system to keep time stamps. I’m dreading move out because they can’t be trusted. Now I have to record every conversation and make a big deal out of everything because you can’t trust them to handle to handle something with integrity. They don’t respect their residents. Fort Hamilton is a beautiful base and most people you encounter here are wonderful. But if you have to deal with the housing management I suggest you get ready to record conversations and take pictures of everything. If you don’t it will bite you in the butt.

2 stars because living on Fort Hamilton was wonderful, very convenient and beautiful scenery.
However, Sadia and her team upon moving out were extremely neglectful and unresponsive. As soon as we put our 30 day notice in, they stopped receiving our phone calls and refused to answer questions or provide paperwork that we needed.
A new employee Ann Jimenez spent 10 minutes talking with me and got everything sorted out that we needed that we’d been trying to get for a month. Very thankful for her.
