I was at a complete loss as to how to go about advertising my pet transport business, that I had started up nearly twenty years ago. for sale. To sell a house, restaurant or bar, I would go to an estate agent nearby, but to sell a business, mainly the website, client base etc, I hadn’t a clue. Various people I had asked told me that there must be ‘appropriate platforms out there on the Internet, on which to advertise’ so I tried typing in ‘Business Broker in Spain’ (where I have lived for many years) and up came Business Broker Spain! I emailed Sean and arranged to meet him in Málaga, where he lives and only half an hour from where I live. I found him very easy to get on with and understanding immediately my situation in hoping to sell my business, as it was time for me to retire. He explained that he would advertise it on various appropriate internet sites and sent me the links to four of them, which I looked at and was happy with. I then contracted his company, by paying a contract fee and signing the document that he sent me. Sean also explained that he would be the intermediary, with any interested parties, all the way to the sale. Sean was as good as his word and I was only only involved directly when a potential buyer showed serious interest, again with Sean as the intermediary, which was exactly how I had hoped it would be. Four months later he introduced me to the delightful couple who decided to buy the business. I was extremely pleased and happy with the professional and understanding way that Sean handled and conducted everything, from the very start right through to the sale, I couldn’t have wished for any more. I would highly recommend Sean and his business, Business Broker Spain, without any hesitation to anyone looking to sell their business.
